The Rose Chart, also known as a Radial Bar Chart, is effective for comparing categorical data through 'petals' that extend from the center, visually similar to a rose and scale based on the values.
Navigation to Create/Edit a Rose Chart:
- Access the Dashboard:
- Navigate to the dashboard where you intend to add or edit a metric card.
- Create or Edit a Metric Card:
- For a new chart, click on "Create Metric" in the desired dashboard.
- To edit an existing chart, open the metric card you wish to modify.
- Choose Chart Type:
- In the metric editing interface, locate the "Chart Type" selector.
- Select "Rose" from the available chart types.
Customizing the Rose Chart:
Under the "Appearance" tab, these customizations are available for the Rose Chart:
- Rose Type: Choose the style of the rose chart, which affects how the 'petals' are displayed.
- Mode: Select the mode of representation for the data in the chart.
- Offset: Enter a numerical value to adjust the gap between the petals.
- Show Label Line: Enable this option to display lines that connect labels to their corresponding segments, aiding in the identification of data.
In addition to these appearance options, you can also set up actions for the chart under the "Actions" tab, as well as customize various aspects of the "Appearance" tab.
