    A Table Chart shows structured data in rows and columns, allowing for detailed comparisons and analysis.

Navigation to Create/Edit a Table Chart:

  1. Access the Dashboard:
    • Navigate to the dashboard where you intend to add or edit a metric card.
  2. Create or Edit a Metric Card:
    • For a new chart, click on "Create Metric" in the desired dashboard.
    • To edit an existing chart, open the metric card you wish to modify.
  3. Choose Chart Type:
    • In the metric editing interface, locate the "Chart Type" selector.
    • Select "Table" from the available chart types.

Customizing the Appearance and Features:

In the Table chart, under the "Appearance" tab, you can customize the following elements:

UI Style Customizations:

  • Table Content Alignment: Adjust the alignment of content within the table cells.
  • Table Line Gap: Set the gap between lines in the table.
  • Table Title: Add and customize the title of the table.
  • List Columns and Separators: Customize the appearance and separators of list columns.
  • Badge Columns and Separators: Define the appearance and separators of badge columns.
  • Default Row Size: Set the default size for rows in the table.
  • Server Side Pagination: Toggle server-side pagination for handling large datasets.
  • Hide Vertical/Horizontal Dividers: Choose to hide vertical or horizontal dividers in the table.
  • Enable Striped Rows and Row Hover: Improve table readability with striped rows and row hover effects.
  • Header Font Bold: Make the header font bold for emphasis.

Feature Customizations (toggles):

  • Show Table Title: Toggle the display of the table title.
  • Hide Table Header: Choose to hide the table header.
  • Enable Table Search: Allow users to search within the table.
  • Enable Sorting: Enable sorting capabilities for the table.
  • Disable Pagination: Toggle pagination off for the table.

Conditional Formatting:

  • Add rules to change cell colors based on specific conditions, enhancing the data's visual interpretation.

In addition to these appearance options, you can also set up actions for the chart under the "Actions" tab. For more detailed information on setting up chart actions, please refer to this documentation.

These customization options allow you to tailor the Table Chart to your specific data presentation and analysis needs.
