The Treemap Chart offers an insightful way to represent hierarchical data using nested rectangles of varying sizes and colors, making it a great tool for understanding patterns and proportions in a dataset.

Navigation to Create/Edit a Treemap Chart:

  1. Access the Dashboard:
    • Navigate to the dashboard where you intend to add or edit a metric card.
  2. Create or Edit a Metric Card:
    • For a new chart, click on "Create Metric" in the desired dashboard.
    • To edit an existing chart, open the metric card you wish to modify.
  3. Choose Chart Type:
    • In the metric editing interface, locate the "Chart Type" selector.
    • Select "Treemap" from the available chart types.

The Treemap Chart is especially effective for visualizing complex data structures in a compact space, such as budget allocations, portfolio compositions, or product category distributions. Its intuitive design allows for quick comprehension of the relative sizes and significance of different categories or elements within a dataset.
