Using Dashboard Settings in DataBrain

The dashboard settings offer a variety of tools to enhance, manage, and customize your analytics experience.

Accessing Settings:

  • On the dashboard, locate the "Settings" icon in the top right, adjacent to the "Create Metric" button.
  • Clicking it reveals a dropdown with several options.

  1. Integrate Dashboard:
    • Here, you can retrieve the embeddable code or the DataBrain app dashboard UI plugin, available in both React and Vue languages.
  2. Dashboard Filters:
    • This option lets you toggle dashboard filters on or off.
    • Enabling the toggle lets you utilize filters. For an in-depth guide on using and adding filters, refer to this documentation.
  3. Delete Dashboard:
    • To remove a dashboard, select this option.
    • A confirmation pop-up will appear. Confirm the action by clicking "Delete".
  4. Manage Metrics:
    • This tool lets you oversee the metric cards on the dashboard.
    • From the dropdown, decide which metrics to display and which to hide. Unselected metrics are sent to the archive metric store. If needed, you can recover them later by unarchiving.

By utilizing these settings, you can ensure an optimal and tailored dashboard experience in DataBrain.
