Adding Aliases to Fields in DataBrain
Personalize your metric fields by assigning custom names or aliases for clarity and ease of understanding.
- Drag & Drop Fields:
- Begin by dragging and dropping the desired dimensions and metrics fields into the chart area.
- Access Field Edit Option:
- Hover over any field in the dimensions and measures.
- Click on the field to open the dialog box.
- Hover over any field in the dimensions and measures.
- Assign an Alias:
- Inside the dialog box, you can modify the field name, effectively creating an alias for it.
